Today I got a cool Postcrossing meet-up card from Malaysia! The meet-up was held on December 1, 2014 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center. It was held in conjunction with the World Youth Stamp Exhibition 2014. A nice horse stamp was used! Thanks Matthew! 

Postcrossing Meet-Up Card from Latvia!

Today I got a great Postcrossing Meet-Up card from Latvia! The postcard, which shows falls in the countryside, was sent from the Postcrossing Meet-Up held at Riga on October 10, 2014. The event was organized by the Latvian Post. Used was a stamp from a joint issue with Sweden commemorating Riga and Umeå as European Capitals of Culture of 2014. It was issued on January 16, 2014. This stamp shows the National Library of Latvia, an architecturally significant building in the city of Riga. Thanks Zane!

Today I got an awesome Postcrossing Meet-Up card from Indonesia! The postcard was sent from the Jakarta meet-up, which was held on March 3, 2014. The specially designed card features an illustration of the city, its culture, a mailbox, and the country's flag. We can also see the unique matching stamp made for the event. Jakarta is Indonesia's capital city and has a population of about 10,000,000 people. Thanks Jennifer!

Today I got a nice Postcrossing Meet-Up card from the United Kingdom! The postcard was sent from the London Postcrossing Meet-Up held on the 2nd and 3rd of May, 2014. The postcard shows multiple views of the capital city of London, including the iconic London Eye. A nice stamp featuring the Royal Mews Carriage Horses was used! Thanks Jo! 

Postcrossing Meet-Up Card from France!

Today I got a nice Postcrossing Meet-Up card from France! The card was sent from the Postcrossing Meet-Up in Chartres, which was held on March 8, 2014. Chartres is a commune in northern France. It has a total area of about 16 square kilometres and has a population of about 40,000 people. It is located on a hill by the Eure River. It is most known for the Cathedral of Chartres, which we can see in one of the views on the card. It is a historic and popular Gothic cathedral and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Thanks Maud!

Today I got a nice Postcrossing Meet-up card from the USA! The card was sent from the Postcrossing Meet-up held at San Diego on February 22, 2014. San Diego is the second largest city in the state of California and is also the country's eight largest. Sometimes called "America's Finest City", San Diego is located about 120 miles away from Los Angeles. It is currently developing as the center for biotechnology research. It has a population of about 1,300,000 people. Thanks Sybil!

Today I got my second card from the Postcrossing Meet-up in Cologne, Germany! The meeting was held at Cologne on December 7, 2013. The card features an alternative view of the popular Cologne Cathedral, the city's most distinctive landmark. A nice UNESCO stamp was used! Thanks Sabrina!

Today I got a nice Postcrossing Meet-up Card from Belgium! The card shows a view of Ghent, the capital of the East Flanders province in Belgium. It has a population of nearly 250,000 people and is one of the largest municipalities in Belgium. Thanks Raquel!

Today I got a nice Postcrossing Meet-up card from the Paris Meet-up! It was held in Paris, France's capital city, on November 9, 2013. The card shows a view of the Arc de Triomphe, one of the city's most notable landmarks. Used was a nice stamp featuring a emergency medical team with a special Paris postmark. Thanks Stéphanie!

Today I got a cool Postcrossing Meet-up card from the Postcrossing Meeting at Essen on the 31st of August, 2013! The card depicts the Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is located in the city of Essen. Thanks Janet!
