Postcard from Thailand!

Today I got a nice postcard from Thailand! The postcard features a view of Wat Arun, which is also known as Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan. It is a Buddhist temple located in Bangkok by the Chao Phraya River. It is named after the Hindu god Aruna. It is one of the country's most popular landmarks and it was first built in the seventeenth century. Used was a nice Year of the Horse stamp! Thanks Beam!

Today I got a great postcard from Thailand! The postcard shows an aerial view of Lai Leh Beach, which is located in Krabi, Thailand. Krabi is the capital of  Krabi province, which is in southern Thailand situated by Phang Nga Bay. With a population of about 52,000 people, it is a popular tourist destination. It is surrounded by national parks and is served by an international airport. Thanks Rafal!

Today I got a nice postcard from Thailand! The postcard features a view of Wat Ton Kwain, a temple in Chiang Mai that is considered by some to be one of the most beautiful in the country. Chiang Mai is known as the most important city in northern Thailand. It was once the Kingdom of Chiang Mai and was also once the capital of the Kingdom of Lanna. It covers an area of about 40 square kilometres and has a population of almost 150,000 people. It is a popular tourist destination, attracting almost 2 million foreign tourists annually. Today I got a nice postcard from Thailand! The card features a beautiful view of Wat Phra Si Sanphet, which was once the most important monastery in Ayutthaya. It was once situated in the Royal Palace grounds. The Historic City of Ayutthaya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and once served as the Siamese capital before being destroyed by the Burmese. Today I got a great postcard from Thailand! It shows a nice view of Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan, more commonly known as Wat Arun or the "Temple of Dawn". It is a Buddhist temple located along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, the country's capital. It is one of Thailand's most famous landmarks and its most noteworthy feature is its central tower. A lot of great stamps were used! Thanks Mint!
