Postcard from the Åland Islands!
Today I got a nice postcard from the Åland Islands! The postcard shows a delivery vehicle of Posten Åland. Posten Åland is the entity responsible for postal services within the islands. It was established in 1993, when it separated from the mainland's service. It is headquartered in Mariehamn and is owned by the Government of Åland. The card features a matching image to the country's 2013 Europa Stamp. Thanks Lilla!

Postcard from the Åland Islands!

Postcard from the Åland Islands!
Today I got a wonderful card from the Åland Islands! It shows an illustrated map of the region. The Åland Islands is an autonomous region of Finland and it has its own postal system and issues its own stamps. It is located at the entrance of the Gulf of Bothnia in the Baltic Sea.
