Postcard From Greece!

Today I got a nice postcard from Greece! The card features Corinth Canal. Corinth Canal is a canal that connects the Gulf of Corinth and the Saronic Gulf. It was first used in 1893 and is 6.4 km long. Today, however, it sees little economic use and is mostly used for tourism. On the card, we see an old cruise ship passing through the canal. Multiple beautiful ship stamps were used! The card is an official Postcrossing card, GR-36053. Thanks Dimitris!

Today I got a beautiful card from Greece! It shows a great view of Acropolis, which is in the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. You can see the world-famous Parthenon here, which was built during the 5th century BC and was dedicated to the goddess Athena. Athens got its name from Athena. Thank you so much Elena!
