Postcrossing Meet-up Card from Norway!
Today I got a beautiful Postcrossing Meet-up card from Norway! It was sent from the 1st Postcrossing Meeting in Ålesund in Norway on the 7th of September, 2013. Take note of the cool stamp that shows the date & location of the meeting! Thanks Cathrine!

Postcard from Norway!
Today I got a wonderful vertical panoramic card from Norway! It shows a nice shot of Preikestolen, otherwise known as the Pulpit Rock. It takes a few hours to hike to the top, which is 600m above the fjord below. The view must amazing there! Thanks Daria!

Cover from the Netherlands Arctic Station!
Today I got my second cover from the Netherlands Arctic Station. As stated in my first post, it is located in Ny-Ålesund and it has the world's northernmost post office and village. Some different cachets were used in this cover, like the one of the University of Groningen.

Cover from the Netherlands Arctic Station!
Today I got a really cool cover from Ny-Ålesund. It was sent by the Netherlands Arctic Station which is in Ny-Ålesund in the island of Spitsbergen. Ny-Ålesund is the world's northernmost village and it also has the world's northernmost post office. It is typically inhabited by 30-35 people. It is currently used as an international research base and this was signed by some of the researchers! Dr. Maarten Loonen, the station manager and arctic ecologist, signed it! Thank you so much!
