Postcard from Argentina!

Today I got a beautiful postcard from Argentina! The postcard shows multiple views of San Carlos de Bariloche, more commonly known as Bariloche. Bariloche is a city in the Río Negro province. It is located on the foothills of the Andes mountains and by Nahuel Huapi Lake. It has a population of about 110,000 people and covers 220 square kilometres. On the bottom left we see the Bariloche Civic Centre, which was opened in 1940 and is a national monument. The city is a popular tourist destination, especially for trekkers and skiers. Thanks Ana!

Today I got a nice postcard from Argentina! The card shows a view of the Teatre Colón, which is located in Buenos Aires, the country's capital city. It is also known as the Columbus Theatre and it is the main opera house in Buenos Aires. It is considered to be one of the five best concert venues in the world in terms of acoustics. Thanks Maria!

Today I got a beautiful card from Argentina! The card shows beautiful views of the Iguazú Falls, which is really impressive. It is part of the  New Seven Wonders of Nature. Most of the Iguazú River falls into the Garganta Del Diablo, or the Devil's Throat. The falls are located along the Argentine and Brazilian border. Also see are the San Ignacio Ruins.
