Cover, Postcard, Sweets, & Magnet from Bulgaria!

Today I got a nice envelope with a lot of items inside from Bulgaria! Included a postcard of Borovets. Borovets is a popular Bulgarian mountain resort that is located 73 kilometres away from Sofia. Originally established in the late 19th century as a hunting resort for Bulgarian kings, it is the first winter resort in the country. Also included were some local sweets and a nice 3D magnet. Today I got a nice postcard from Bulgaria! The postcard shows multiple views of different sites in Bulgaria, including the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia, the Vitosha Mountain, and the Boyana Waterfall. The cathedral was completed in 1912 and is a Bulgarian Orthodox cathedral.  It is the cathedral church of the Patriarch of Bulgaria and is one of the largest Eastern Orthodox cathedrals. It can accomodate up to 10,000 people and covers an area of about 3,000 square metres. Thanks Nadezhda!

Today I got a nice card from Bulgaria! The card shows a view of Tsarevets, which is located in Veliko Tarnovo. It served as a stronghold and palace for the Bulgarian kings of the Second Bulgarian Empire during the 12th-14th centuries. Thanks Nadezhda!

Today I got a really cool card from Bulgaria! The card shows a map of the country and the whole card is shaped according to its outline. Seen are major cities and towns and also some landmarks. Thanks a lot Lilyana!

Today I got a nice card from Bulgaria! The card shows some nice views of the Seven Rila Lakes in Bulgaria. All seven lakes are visible on the card, but to see all of them in real life, one must go high up the mountain. Thanks Nadezhda!

Today I got a great postcard from Bulgaria! It showcases the former royal palace in Sofia, the country's capital city. This is where the last royal family lived and it is now the national art gallery and ethnographic museum. Thanks Lyubo!

Today I got a beautiful postcard from Bulgaria! It shows the Old Nesebar, a very beautiful town with a lot of history. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and it called the Pearl of the Black Sea. The card's text is actually gold foil, which makes it shiny under the light. Really beautiful card! Thanks Nadezhda!

Today I received a nice card from Bulgaria! The card shows a view of the city of Sofia, which is the country's capital. There are 1.3 million living in the city. On the card, you can see the scenic Vitosha Mountain, which is very near the city. Thanks Lyubo!
