Today I got a nice cover from Egypt! Inside, a beautifully made painting on papyrus depicting an Egyptian pharaoh was included. Papyrus was the first form of paper invented by ancient Egyptians and is very fragile. Nice stamps were used on the cover, including a stamp featuring Tutankhamun and one featuring Senusret I. Tutankhamun was a pharaoh of the 18th dynasty while Senusret I was a pharaoh of the 12th dynasty. Thanks Sara!

Postcard from Egypt!
Today I got a great card from Egypt! The card shows Pompey's Pillar and a Ptolemaic sphinx in Alexandria, Egypt's second largest city. Used was a nice ship stamp and a stamp commemorating the revolution that recently took place on January 25 2013. Thanks Sara!

Postcard from Egypt!
Today I got a nice card from Egypt! It is my first card from there and I really like it! It features the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, which is located near the Valley of Kings. It was dedicated to the sun god Amon-Ra and it is considered one of the finest examples of ancient Egyptian monuments. Thank you Sara!
