Postcard from Taiwan!
Today I got a nice postcard from Taiwan! The postcard is an advertisement card from China Airlines. China Airlines is the flag carrier of Taiwan and its largest airline. With 1,300 weekly flights, it is based out of Taoyuan International Airport. It also has a hub at Kaohsiung International Airport and a thriving freight business. It is part of the SkyTeam alliance. Postcard from Indonesia!
Today I got a nice postcard from Indonesia! The postcard shows a group of Balinese dancers performing Kecak, also known as the Ramayana Monkey Chant. Primarily performed by men, it consists of about 150 performers in a circle. It was developed in the 1930s and it depicts a battle from the Ramayana. Thanks Agnes!

Today I got an awesome cover from Panama! In it was a nice colorful guidebook, a bag of tea, and a postcard. The postcard shows multiple views of Boquete, Chiriquí, a small town in the highlands of the country. Panama, officially known as the Republic of Panama, is the southernmost country of North America. With an area of about 75,000 square kilometres, the country has a population of about 3.6 million people. The official language is Spanish and its capital city is Panama City. Thanks Amy!

Postcard from Vietnam!
Today I got a beautiful postcard from Vietnam! The postcard shows a nice scene at the famous Ha Long Bay. Ha Long bay, which is located in Quảng Ninh Province, occupies an area of about 1,500 square kilometres and has almost 2,000 small islets made up of limestone. These islets developed over half a billion years and they are home to may different flora and fauna. The area has been occupied by humans for thousands of years, as shown by prehistoric evidence. Postcard from China!
Today I got a nice postcard from China! The postcard shows a scene in the historic Chinese opera. Chinese opera evolved from multiple forms of drama throughout China's long history. Several forms exist due to regional differences but the Beijing opera is the most popular. Today, it is mostly performed in formal Chinese opera houses. It is rarely performed in public. Today I got a nice postcard from Vietnam! Throughout Vietnam's experiences of war, the militiawoman has been the icon for Vietnamese women. During the war, Vietnamese women enlisted and fought. They also helped in logistics and in cooking. Some of them took over the farming tasks in the rural areas in order to help the war effort. Women also fought on both sides. Thanks Jo!

The card is advertising Jakarta, the country's capital city. With a population of nearly ten million people, the city is one of the most populous in the world and Indonesia's largest. Postcard from Indonesia!
Today I got a nice postcard from Indonesia! The postcard shows a street view of the memorial of the 2002 Bali bombings. It is located on the site of the pub that was destroyed during the attack. It has a marble plaque bearing the names of those who died in the attack and the flags of all their nations are also flown. It was dedicated on the second anniversary of the attacks. Thanks Linna!
