Postcard from Hungary!
Today I got a great postcard from Hungary! The postcard shows a map of the Budapest Metro, the rapid transit system of the city of Budapest. Budapest is Hungary's capital city and its electrified underground railway system is the second oldest in the world. Its Line 1 is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The system has a total of 4 lines, 52 stations, and an annual ridership of about 420 million passengers. Thanks Karolina!

It is the second most populous landlocked country, with a populaion of almost 38 million people. It has an equatorial climate and it is bordered by Lake Victoria in the south. Its capital city is Kampala and it gained independence from the United Kingdom in 1962. Seen on the card are views of a tea plantation, Murchison Falls, and Mt. Rwenzori. Thanks Tian!

Postcard from Taiwan!
Today I got a nice postcard from Taiwan! The postcard shows an illustrated map of the country. The map features some data such as the different products of the regions, the minerals, and other valuable commodities. The island of Taiwan lies 180 kilometres from mainland China and is about 36,193 square kilometres. To the east, there are many mountains and ranges while the west is generally flat. A nice aquatic stamp was used! Thanks sunoceana!
