Postcard from the USA!

Today I got a nice postcard from the USA! The postcard features a scene at Haystack Rock, which is located in the state of Oregon. It is a sea stack that stands at about 72 metres and it sits just outside Cannon Beach. It is primarily made up of basalt and was formed from a volcanic eruption more than ten million years ago. The rock is accessible via foot during low tide and its tide pool and rock surface serve as a home and nesting site for many different animals. Thanks Anna!

Today I got a nice postcard from the USA! The card shows an aerial view of the city of Portland. Portland is a city in the state of Oregon and it is located by the Willamette and Columbia rivers. Its population is about 600,000 people. Thanks Margaret!

Today I got a cool card from the USA! The card shows an illustrated Lantern Press poster of the Bigfoot legend at Mt. Hood in Oregon. Mt. Hood is a stratovolcano in the Cascade Volcanic Arc of northern Oregon. Thanks John!

Today I got a nice card from the USA! The card shows a view of Crater Lake National Park. During summer, visitors can take boat tours around Rim Drive and hike around the park's trails. What a beautiful view! Thanks Valerie!
