Today I got a nice postcard from Germany! The postcard shows the ruins of Weißenstein castle. It is located in the Bavarian Forest. The forest is a low-mountain region along the border of the Czech Republic. Its main river is the Regen and its highest peak is the Großer Arber. Postcard from Finland!
Today I got a cool postcard from Finland! The postcard shows a view of Olavinlinna, a 15th century stone castle. Also called St. Olaf's Castle, it is the oldest surviving northernmost stone fortress. It is located in a strait in Savonlinna and has three towers. It hosts the Savonlinna Opera Festival. The postcard is an official Postcrossing card, FI-2336108. Thanks Mervi!

Today I got a nice postcard from Germany! The postcard shows a nice view in Rüdesheim am Rhein, which is located in in the Rhine Gorge. This winemaking town holds a wine festival annually. Postcard from South Korea!
Today I got a nice postcard from South Korea! The postcard shows a view inside Geunjeongjeon, the main throne hall of Gyeongbok Palace. The palace was once the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty and it was built in 1395. It is also the largest of the Five Grand Palaces of the said dynasty. During the start of the 20th century, it was destroyed by Imperial Japan and it is currently still undergoing restoration. Thanks Seung Yeop!

Today I got a nice postcard from Russia! The postcard shows an painted view of The Neva River. The river, which emanates from Lake Ladoga, stretches to Neva Bay in the Gulf of Finland. It has a length of 74 kilometres and passes through the city of St. Petersburg. Also seen on the card are the Winter Palace and the Palace Bridge. Postcard from Germany!
Today I got a nice postcard from Germany! The postcard shows multiple views of the city of Dresden, which is located in Saxony by the river Elbe. It has been the historic home of the Kings of Saxony and has a population of about 2.4 million people. During the Second World War, it was bombed by Allied forces, which resulted in the deaths of many civilian residents and a lot of buildings. It has become a major center in Europe and in the country. Postcard from Liechtenstein!
Today I got a beautiful postcard from Liechtenstein! The postcard shows a view of Vaduz Castle. The castle is the official residence of the Prince of Liechtenstein. It also shares its name with its surrounding town, which is the capital of the country. It was built sometime during the 12th century but only came under the possession of the Princely Family of Liechtenstein in the 18th century. It is currently not open to the public. The card was sent by Ruedi from Switzerland who visited the country. A nice Year of the Horse stamp was used! Thanks Ruedi!

Postcard from Germany!
Today I got a great postcard from Germany! The postcard shows a view of the city of Nuremberg, which is located in the state of Bavaria. It is the second largest in the region next to Munich and it currently has a population of about half a million people. It has an area of about 186 square kilometres. Historically, it was once called the unofficial capital of the Holy Roman Empire because its court met at the castle there. The card is an official Postcrossing card, DE-3462769. Thanks Nadja!
