Postcard from Germany!

Today I got a nice postcard from Germany! The postcard shows a view of Zwischenahner Meer, a lake in Ammerland with a surface area of 5.5 square kilometres. Bad Zwischenahn is the town located on it. The town has a population of 28,000 people and the lake plays an important role in the town's resort industry. People from Oldenburg and Bremen come there for boating, bathing, and even eel fishing. During the Second World War, the town was home to the largest German airbase, which was later converted into a golf course. The card is an official Postcrossing card, DE-3355970. Thanks Jutta!
