Postcard from the USA!
Today I got a nice postcard from the USA! The postcard features a view of Washington Square. It is a park located in the North Beach district of San Francisco, California. Established in 1847, it is one of the first parks in the city. It is a popular venue for festivals and other community events. The card is an official Postcrossing card, US-3151829. Thanks Jennifer!

Postcard from the USA!
Today I got a nice postcard from the USA! The postcard shows an illustrated map of the state of California. It also shows the seal of the state, its flag, and some icons and landmarks. The distinctive flag of the state is also called the "Bear Flag." It was first officially adopted in 1911 and was based on the flag flown during the Bear Flag Revolt. Thanks Michell!

Postcard from the USA!
Today I got a cool postcard from the USA! The postcard shows the Columbia space shuttle at the Dryden Flight Research Center. The picture was taken during the first shuttle flight undertaken on a runway. Used were a lot of space-themed stamps! Some of the stamps showed the Mariner 10 and Pioneer 11 probes and Alan Shepard, the first American in space. Thanks Amanda!

Cover & Postcards from the USA!
Today I got a nice cover with a lot of postcards from the USA! The postcards shows multiple places in the state of California. These include the Victorian homes along Steiner Street, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, and Lombard Street, the iconic crooked street. Alcatraz Island is located 1.5 miles offshore from San Francisco It once served mainly as a federal prison until becoming a national historic landmark and recreational site. It also houses the oldest operating lighthouse on the west coast of the country. I received these cards as part of the redditgifts postcard exchange. Thanks noshunintended!

Postcard from the USA!
Today I got a nice postcard from the USA! The postcard shows an illustrated map of the state of California along with some of its symbols. Included were its state bird, the valley quail, its state flag, and its state flower, the California poppy. It is the most populous state in the country, with about 38 million people. Its state capital is Sacramento and it is also a top source for the country's fruit and vegetable production. Thanks Alf!

Postcard from the USA!
Today I got a cool postcard from the USA! The postcard shows a scene from the film Cars. The movie is an animated film produced by the widely acclaimed Pixar Animation Studios that was released in 2006. It was directed and written by John Lasseter and is the last Pixar film to be made before the company's acquisition by Disney. It was well-received and was nominated for two Academy Awards. The film itself earned almost half a billion dollars at the box office and has earned about $10 billion in merchandise. The card came from the Cars Land at Disney's California Adventure. Thanks Abra!

Postcard from the USA!
Today I got a cool postcard from the USA! The postcard shows two views of the campus of the University of California, Berkeley. U.C. Berkeley, as it is often called, is a public research university that was founded in 1868. It has about 31,000 students of all levels and its faculty includes Nobel Prize winners and members of the National Academy of Sciences. On the card, we see the U.C. Campanile/Sather Tower, which is the campus' most noticeable landmark. Thanks Paige!

Postcard from the USA!
Today I got a nice postcard from the USA! The postcard features a picture of the Meerkats located in the San Diego Zoo's Safari Park. The San Diego Zoo was first opened in 1916 and currently houses 3,700 animals spanning many different species. The zoo, which covers an area of 100 acres, was the pioneer in open-air cageless exhibits that featured the animals in approximated natural habitats. The zoo is one of the most popular in the world and is run by Zoological Society of San Diego. Thanks Emily!

Today I got a nice postcard from the USA! The panoramic postcard shows a view of the Loma Linda University Medical Center in California. LLUMC, as it is often shortened to, is a teaching hospital and is a level I trauma center. It was founded in 1905 and has a capacity of 922 beds. Metered postage was used. Thanks Joy!

Today I got a nice postcard from the USA! The postcard shows a scene at Fantasmic!, a show at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. The iconic nighttime shows features fireworks, actors, animations, and the like to create a spectacle in front of the Rivers of America. It is also held at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida and in Tokyo DisneySea in Japan. Metered postage was used. Thanks Gabriela!

Today I got a nice Postcrossing Meet-up card from the USA! The card was sent from the Postcrossing Meet-up held at San Diego on February 22, 2014. San Diego is the second largest city in the state of California and is also the country's eight largest. Sometimes called "America's Finest City", San Diego is located about 120 miles away from Los Angeles. It is currently developing as the center for biotechnology research. It has a population of about 1,300,000 people. Thanks Sybil!

Postcard from the USA!
Today I got a nice postcard from the USA! The postcard, which features glittering, shows a view of downtown Los Angeles, a major city in California. L.A., as it is more commonly known, is the most populous city in the said state and second most populous in the whole USA. It is considered to be the most diverse city in the country. The City of Angels, another of its nicknames, has hosted two Olympic Games and is a globally significant city. Hollywood is also located here. Thanks Abran!

Cover & Postcards from the USA!
Today I got a nice cover with a lot of postcards inside from the USA! On the cover, two beautiful ship stamps were used in addition to a stamp commemorating the 50th anniversary of the US Airmail Service. Twelve postcards were included inside! The postcards show scenes of Chicago, Park Ridge Hospital in North Carolina, barns of the Palouse area in Idaho, the falls at Yosemite National Park in California, the river at Kings Canyon National Park in California, the Berrien County Court House in Michigan, the Erie County Courthouse in Sandusky, Ohio, the Ingham County Courthouse in Michigan, the lighthouse at St. Joseph North Pier in Michigan, the city of Grand Rapids in Michigan, the Little Traverse Lighthouse in Harbor Springs, Michigan, and finally, the lighthouse in Michigan City, Indiana. Postcard from the USA!
Today I got a nice card from the USA! The card shows a nice sunset view of the pier at Huntington Beach. Huntington Beach is the largest beach city in Orange County, California. It is famous for its surfing. Thanks Robin!
