Today I got a great postcard from the USA! The postcard shows a view of the Continental Divide of the Americas. The scene was taken from a portion of Interstate 70 in the state of Colorado. The Eisenhower–Johnson Memorial Tunnel passes under the Continental Divide and is one of the highest vehicular tunnels in the world. The Continental Divide stretches from the Bering Strait in the north down to the Strait of Magellan in the south. The postcard is an official Postcrossing card, US-2897930. Thanks Anita!

Today I got a cool postcard from the USA! The postcard features a red heart design celebrating Valentine's Day, which is celebrated on February 14. What's special about the card is that it was sent from Loveland, a city in Larimer County, Colorado. It is the home of the Valentine Re-mailing Program, where about 160,000 items are re-mailed in order to get the special Loveland postmark. The tradition was started in 1974 by the postmasters of the Loveland Post Office and the Loveland Chamber of Commerce. Each year, a new design is selected and used. Thanks Melissa!

Today I got a nice cover with postcards from the USA! The cards show views of Colorado. One shows hot air ballooning during winter at Mt. Crested Butte. The other card shows multiple views of Aspen, Colorado. Used was a nice bonsai stamp. Thanks Elina!

Today I got a nice postcard from the USA! It shows a cool state map of the state of Colorado, which was admitted as the 38th state in the Union and was nicknamed the "Centennial State" for the 100th year of the Declaration of Independence. Thanks Debbie!

Postcard from the USA!

Today I received a postcard from the state of Colorado in the United States of America. It showcases the Pawnee Buttes, which are located inside the Pawnee National Grassland in northeastern Colorado. These buttes are about 300 feet high, which are prominently set against the very flat backdrop of the grassland. Thank you Debbie!
