Postcard from the USA!

Today I got a nice postcard from the USA! The postcard shows a view of the Memorial Union at Purdue University. Purdue University, which is located in the state of Indiana, was established in 1869. It is named after John Purdue, who donated land and funding to establish the university. The university is well-known for its engineering and science programs. 23 astronauts studied in Purdue, including Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon. Interestingly, about one third of all of NASA's manned space missions have had a Purdue graduate on board. The card is an official Postcrossing card, US-2675982. Thanks Matt!
