Postcard from the USA!

Today I got a cool postcard from the USA! The postcard features a red heart design celebrating Valentine's Day, which is celebrated on February 14. What's special about the card is that it was sent from Loveland, a city in Larimer County, Colorado. It is the home of the Valentine Re-mailing Program, where about 160,000 items are re-mailed in order to get the special Loveland postmark. The tradition was started in 1974 by the postmasters of the Loveland Post Office and the Loveland Chamber of Commerce. Each year, a new design is selected and used. Thanks Melissa!
