Today I got a great postcard from Singapore! The card shows nice views of different temples and mosques in Singapore. Of interest is the Masjid Sultan, which is the mosque on the upper right part of the card. It was created by Sultan Hussain Shah from 1824 to 1826 using funds from the East India Company. It is considered to be one of the most important mosques in Singapore. Nice stamps were used, including one featuring popular gadgets and celebrating 50 years of the television. Thanks Demi!
