Postcard from Hungary!

Today I got a nice postcard from Hungary! The card shows a view of Budapest as seen from the Citadella. The Citadella is a fortress situated on Gellért Hill. It was built in the 19th century after the Hungarian Revolution of 1848. The city took possession of the fortress in 1899 and was the site of a battle during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. The card was sent by my dad who visited Budapest. Thanks Dad!
