Postcard from China!

Today I got a cool postcard from China! The postcard shows a view of the Terracotta Army, one of China's most popular icons. Also known as the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, it was originally built as funerary art to protect China's first emperor in the afterlife. It was discovered in 1974 and it is estimated that there are about 8,000 soldiers and over 600 horses. The site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Thanks Sally!
