Postcard from Afghanistan!

Today I got a nice postcard from Afghanistan! Afghanistan, officially known as the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, is a country in Central Asia. It covers an area of about 650,000 square kilometres and has a population of 31 million people. The country has been a flashpoint for millennia and is rich with history. On the card we see the Kabul Intercontinental Hotel, which is located in Kabul, the country's capital city. The card was mailed earlier this year and took some time to get here. Used were older issues by the Postes Afghanes. Thanks Tian!
