Postcard from Japan!

Today I got a beautiful postcard from Japan! The postcard shows cherry blossoms in Yamanashi Prefecture. Cherry blossoms are the flowers of the trees from the genus Prunus. They are a popular symbol of Japan and are also known as sakura. They can be seen in schools, offices, parks, and the like and their blooming is closely tracked. The card is an official Postcrossing card, JP-518679. Thanks Mitsuyo!
