Today I got a nice postcard from New Zealand! The postcard shows a beautiful view of a New Zealand Kea in flight at Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. The Kea is a large parrot typically found in New Zealand's South Island. It is 48 centimetres long and is olive green and orange. It is the world's only alpine parrot and is now under protection due to it being more and more uncommon. A nice ship stamp was used! Thanks Sharon!
