Postcard from France!

Today I got a nice postcard from France! The postcard shows multiple scenes of the Canal du Nivernais. First built in 1784, it contributed to the economic development of the department of the Nièvre as a vital communication route. It is currently used for leisure craft, which tourists can board to view many idyllic French countryside scenes of small villages, farmlands, and hamlets.
