Postcard from Nepal!

Today I got a nice postcard from Nepal! The card shows a view of the Annapurna Himalayan Range as seen from the Annapurna Base Camp. Its name, Annapurna, means "full of food" and its peaks are considered to be some of the most dangerous to climb in the world. Nepal, officially known as the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, is a country in South Asia, right beside China and India. Its population is about 27 million people. Eight out of the ten tallest mountains in the world are located in the country, including Mt. Everest the tallest mountain on Earth. A nice stamp featuring Elephant Football was used! Thanks Du!
