Today I got a nice postcard from Finland! The postcard shows Rubus chamaemorus, also known as the cloudberry. The herb, which produces an amber-colored fruit, is native to the tundra and alpine. Finland is a major exporter and consumer of the fruit. It is typically eaten with a local cheese and some cream and sugar. It is also used in some Finnish liqueurs. The card is an official Postcrossing card, FI-2250463. Thanks Jenni!
