Postcard from Germany!

Today I got a cool postcard from Germany! The postcard shows the first pressure reducing valve, known as the Lubeca valve. This allowed for the precise removal of carbon dioxide from a pressurized container. The card was made by the company Drägerwerk AG, a historic German medical equipment company. They have a series of cards commemorating breakthroughs in medical devices. Thanks Dad!
