Postcard from Russia!

Today I got a nice postcard from Russia! The postcard shows a street view of the Voznesenskaya Church. It is located in the city of Yoshkar-Ola. Yoshkar-Ola is the capital city of the Mari El Republic of the Russian Federation. The name translates to the "red city" and it was first established as a military fortress in the 16th century. It covers an area of about 100 square kilometres and has a population of about 250,000 people. The card is an official Postcrossing card, RU-2720886. Thanks Olga & Evgeny!
