Postcard from the USA!

Today I got a cool postcard from the USA! The postcard features a map detailing the historic U.S. Route 66, which was first established in 1926. It is also known as the "Mother Road," the "Main Street of America," and as the "Will Rogers Highway." The Smithsonian Museum of American History displays a forty foot segment of the highway, after the original highway was decommissioned as a federal highway. Today, some segments are designated as state highways and a scenic route has been marked. The postcard is an official Postcrossing card, US-2695424. Thanks Julia!
