Cover & Postcard from the USA!

Today I got an interesting cover and postcard from the USA! I sent this postcard of the MacArthur monument in Leyte, the Philippines in order to be cancelled with the pictorial postmark of the 50th Anniversary of the MacArthur Memorial in Norfolk, Virginia. The MacArthur Memorial in Norfolk  was created by the mayor of Norfolk in the early 60's. Norfolk's old courthouse was repurposed to store the general's papers and other mementos. A rotunda in the center houses two sarcophagi for General MacArthur and Jean MacArthur.
