Today I got a nice postcard from Ukraine! The postcard features an interesting view in the province of Chernivtsi in Ukraine. It is interesting because the blue sky and the yellow field resemble the Ukrainian national flag. Chernivtsi Oblast is a region bordering Romania and Moldova. It covers an area of about 8,100 square kilometres and has a population of almost 1,000,000 people. It is the smallest province in Ukraine, covering only about 1% of the country's territory. Thanks Liudmila!
