Today I got a nice postcard from Finland! The postcard shows a man from Lapland wearing traditional winter clothes. These clothes are often made of reindeer skin. Used was an interesting stamp issued in 2012 commemorating Sami culture. The stamp was one of four stamps issued in a miniature sheet that was shaped like the Sami Cultural Center. The illustrations depicted on the stamps are based on old figures used by the Sami people. Thanks Anna-Maria!
