Postcard from Russia!

Today I got a nice postcard from Russia! The postcard shows a shore view of Lake Baikal, a continental rift lake. Lake Baikal is located in Siberia and is known for being the world's largest lake by volume. It is also the deepest and oldest lake in the world, at an estimated age of about 25 million years. The Buryat tribe resides by the lake. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The card is an official Postcrossing card, RU-2488303. Thanks Nonna!
