Postcard from Finland!

Today I got a nice postcard from Finland! The card shows a view of Jyväskylä, the largest city in Central Finland. The city, which has a population of about 130,000 people, lies on the coast of Lake Päijänne. It is surrounded by lakes and lakes & rivers make up around 20% of the city's total area. It is where many of the works of the great Finnish architect Alvar Aalto are located. The card is an official Postcrossing card, FI-1980317. A nice ship stamp was used from the series called Life at Sea.  Thanks Auli!
